A QUIET HOME FROM HOME, ON THE DOORSTEP OF EVERYTHING YOU NEED

Beagle’s open-plan ground floor is great for spreading out and doing your own thing or coming together to snuggle up with cosy toes in front of the log burner while you watch a film together. The kitchen has everything you need with a handy breakfast bar for fuelling up for the day to come in the mornings and plenty of utilities for cooking up a hearty meal in the evenings.

Upstairs the double bedroom has a characterful exposed brick wall featuring the original fireplace (not functional), and exposed slate lintel. There’s plenty of storage with a wardrobe, drawers, and individual bedside tables. There’s also a small stereo to add a little music to your mornings. Just off the bedroom is the bathroom, equipped with a bath and shower, hand basin, and WC.

Outside, to the back of the building is a shared garden area with lawn space and flowering borders during the right season.

Stayed at Beagle cottage for a long weekend with my husband and our dog. It was completely perfect for our needs, especially at the end of a long day walking. It’s the perfect combination of being cosy and quaint, but also modern and comfortable. The garden is shared but we were the only ones who used it during our stay - gets a good amount of sun if you’re lucky with the weather like we were and a good option to let the dog out. Would certainly recommend. This was our first stay in Keswick and we will definitely be returning. Lots of places to explore, and being central in the Lake district we could get out of the town easily for the day. Beagle cottage is a stones throw from all the great pubs and restaurants in Keswick so very easy to get back with weary legs! Parking was easy at the central long day car pack, we just quickly unloaded the bags and drove round. We went during school half term so the carparks were busy when returning at lunchtime one day but to be expected

Just returned from a three night stay in this delightful town centre cottage in Keswick. Its position was ideal, in easy reach of everything. Short walk to the free car parking, so easy to drop off luggage then park car in near by car park. Accommodation was ideal for the two of us plus a very happy pouch! Spotlessly clean. All kitchen equipment you could need. Comfy bed and clean white bed linen. Sparkling bathroom and towels. Nothing negative to say about our stay! Thank you and would be happy to return and recommend to family and friends.

Very good location, parking is a little walk. There was dog hair all over the blanket on the sofa so could have done with a little wash. I’ve stayed here twice now and it’s a great location and clean enough for the weekend.

Had a great stay here, very close to everything, pubs, restaurants, walks, car park isn't too far away. Can easily unload the car then walk around. Weren't many negatives but we didn't have any logs or anything to light the fire with and the upstairs small window doesn't have a cover over it so light was waking us up some mornings. Other than that it's a lovely cottage! Comfy bed and sofa, shower and bath were very nice! Had an issue last day as the dryer wouldn't open with our clothes in but they got someone out quickly to fix it. We visit Keswick every year and will definitely stay again.
