Located on the northwestern shores of majestic Lake Windermere and just two miles from the popular village of Ambleside sits the renowned Pullwood Bay.  Dating back to the 18th century, this traditional country estate has been welcoming holidaymakers for over two decades and offers an exclusive collection of quality, lakeside apartments, traditional holiday cottages and a glorious, detached boathouse. Set in over 51 acres of private, landscaped gardens and mature, natural woodland, guests can enjoy a stroll or bike ride through the beautiful grounds which are home to wild deer, squirrels and a superb selection of flora, fauna.

Pullwood Bay enjoys half a mile of private lake frontage, perfect for enjoying a picnic at the water’s edge whilst taking in the glorious views of Windermere and her surrounding fell range. The private jetty is available for those wishing to launch a dinghy, canoe or kayak and the shallow bay is safe for taking a quick dip and perfect for those more adventurous wild swimmers amongst you.

This beautiful corner of the Lakes offers superb walking and cycling opportunities for all ages and abilities, nearby Tarn Hows being a firm favourite of ours, particularly when followed by a visit to the famous Drunken Duck Inn, just half a mile from Pullwood Bay –  it really is a must!
