The Christmas festival will be going ahead in the full traditional Ulverston Dickensian Festival style.

There will be multiple performance stages, roving street performers, hot mulled wine, a town-full of wonderful stalls, and costume parades through the historic town streets.

Come along and get into the Christmas spirit. Dress up if you want to, and enjoy the amazing friendly atmosphere.

Performers for include brass bands, singers, magicians, fire eaters, jugglers, stilt walkers, and a whole lot more. All of the entertainment is provided absolutely free of charge.

In addition there will be fairground rides (which you have to pay for), and of course you’ll want to visit Ulverston’s traditional and specialist local shops, cafes and pubs. Ulverston still has many independent small businesses, and also still has thriving indoor and outdoor markets.
