One of the most useful kitchen utensils is the humble spatula. Why not create something beautiful and bespoke? Axes, drawknives and knife work all combine in the art of spatula carving.

Get to grips with the drawknife and shave horse and experiment with different techniques and knife grasps. A truly satisfying day starting from a log of locally harvested wood, splitting it down and shaping it into a spatula.
