Parkrun – Whinlatter Forest, Keswick! Get fit, make friends, and see the sights.

PLEASE NOTE: For more info please call 017687 78469 or email [email protected]

Organised by friendly volunteers, the Whinlatter 5k parkrun is open to all abilities and ages and takes place every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. (just make sure you’re registered and bring a scannable barcode).

Parkruns don’t get much more scenic or beautiful than this. Taking in views of Derwentwater and the surrounding mountains and fells, this challenging trail surface run is a hilly loop through the forest that begins and ends at the main car park.

A few things to note:

  • This route is quite hilly, so wear suitable footwear.
  • Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or appropriate adult.
  • You’re welcome to run with one dog on a short, non-extendable lead.
  • Always give way to other forest visitors.
