Parkrun – Railway Path Keswick

Keswick Railway Path

Home > Lake District Events > Parkrun – Railway Path Keswick

Parkrun – Keswick! Get fit, make friends, enjoy nature. Organised by friendly volunteers, the Keswick 5k parkrun is open to all abilities and ages and takes place every Saturday morning at 9am (just make sure you’re registered and bring a scannable barcode). Beginning at the Keswick railway path, the entire circular route is on a mostly flat, permanent path, although it may get a bit muddy in places – it has been known to rain a bit in Cumbria – with fabulous views of the River Greta all the way round. And once your run is done, you’re welcome to join the organisers and other runners for a well-earned brew in the Museum Café at Fitz Park in Keswick.

A few things to note:

  • Please arrive on foot or bicycle if you can as parking is limited.
The start is only a short walk from Keswick town centre.
  • Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or appropriate adult.
  • You’re welcome to run with one dog on a short, non-extendable lead.
  • Always give way to other park users.
