The Walking Festival offers an opportunity to explore Kendal and the peaceful landscapes that surround it.

Regardless of your walking capabilities, the festival offers something for everyone.

The festival was created in 2017 and has successfully grown year by year attracting local enthusiasts and visitors alike.

Join the festival in 2024 and take the opportunity to stay a few extra days here in Kendal and visit the nearby castles, gardens and attractions.

The 2024 schedule is now online and there are over 20 walks to choose from. The walks are graded so you can find your perfect Kendal adventure!
