Develop your skills so you can feel more confident planning a walk in the hills.

What do I need? How do I plan? Develop your skills so you can feel more confident on your next adventure in the outdoors. We’ll cover basic map reading and navigation, how to prepare for a day in the fells and what equipment you might need.

The session will last 2 hours and will include indoor presentations and teaching, as well as lots of time outside to practice those new skills.

This workshop is being provided in partnership with qualified instructors from Lakeland Mountain Guides – the Mountain Activity Specialists.

It will be in the grounds of Fell Foot. Please bring suitable outdoor footwear and waterproofs.
