The Knotted Project’s Forge Festival is returning to Windermere Jetty Museum, promising a day filled with an inspiring mix of live dance, theatre performances and so much more.

This year, Forge Festival expands its reach, featuring performances from three new performance companies across Cumbria, alongside early career artists. Together, they will present original works of art in a range of formats, including dance, physical theatre, spoken word, poetry, and music. These pieces will be performed throughout Windermere Jetty Museum.

The festival’s theme, “Life Through a Lens: Young People in 2025”, captures the essence of youth in our ever-changing world. Expect bold and exciting performances from young creatives, working alongside established artists who will help elevate their voices and ambitions.

Whether you’re a passionate arts and culture fan or new to the arts, Forge Festival 2025 promises to be an exciting opportunity to witness and discover the incredible creativity and emerging talent in Cumbria.

Purchase a museum entry ticket on Saturday 26 April to access Forge Festival at Windermere Jetty Museum. Forge Festival performances are included with an Annual Pass and free for Lakeland Arts Members.
