Take inspiration from Windermere Jetty Museum’s collection and build your own model boat from recycled materials.
Over the Easter holidays, families are invited to flex their creative muscles to make their own cardboard creations using child-safe saws, screws and screwdrivers, designed by Makedo.
Visitors’ creations will form part of a display in the museum’s Learning Centre throughout the Easter break, alongside a sensory area our younger visitors can enjoy at their own pace.
Taking place in the Learning Centre at Windermere Jetty Museum
- Free with admission
- 11am to 3.45pm from March 29–April 7 2024.
- Craft activity most suitable for children aged over 5.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
