This Easter, we invite you to bring the whole family to Windermere Jetty Museum for a week of fun, creativity, and adventure! With a variety of Easter family activities taking place throughout the week, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, from hands-on nature-inspired crafts to an exciting Easter egg hunt around the museum. 

Hammered Leaf & Flower Prints Workshop  

Get creative with nature by making stunning hammered flower prints! Using fresh flowers, leaves, and natural materials, design your own beautiful Easter greeting card in this hands-on workshop. 

This workshop will be running on:

  • Saturday 5 April
  • Wednesday 9 April
  • Saturday 12 April
  • Friday 18 April
  • Saturday 19 April between 11am – 3:45pm. 

Easter Card Making 

Unleash your creativity with stamps, tissue paper, and collage materials to design your own Easter greeting card during our self-led drop-in crafting sessions. 

This activity will be:

  • Available daily between 11am – 3:45pm
  • Except from Monday 14 – Thursday 17 April due to Forge Festival rehearsals. 

Easter Egg Hunt in the Museum! 

The birds that live around Windermere have hidden their eggs inside the museum!

Can you find them all? This fun and interactive Easter egg hunt is perfect for young explorers. 

Seasonal Wildlife Trail 

Discover the spring and summer animals that live in Windermere during our updated Seasonal Wildlife Trail.

Learn about the birds, insects, and creatures that call the Lake District home with our fun indoor trail.  

These Easter holiday family friendly activities are included with museum admission. No booking required—just drop in and enjoy a family day out in Windermere!
