Chefs 4 Windermere

Join Chefs 4 Windermere for a culinary extravaganza, where the finest locally renowned chefs will come together for a week-long celebration of gastronomy, all in support of the Save Windermere campaign. Indulge your taste buds as the county’s top Michelin-starred and critically-acclaimed chefs showcase their culinary prowess, crafting exquisite dishes using the finest local ingredients.

The Chefs 4 Save Windermere event, the brain-child of Barney Cunliffe of the Gilpin Hotel & Lake House, will see The Lake District’s top chefs – with a host of Michelin awards and accolades between them – come together to raise money for the Save Windermere campaign.

Over 6 nights, leading chefs will cook up culinary delights in an intimate tented setting overlooking the lake. Each table seats 10, giving a capacity for 100 guests to attend each night.

Save Windermere is campaigning to end sewage pollution into Windermere and its surrounding rivers, in order to safeguard this precious body of water for future generations. The funds raised from the Chefs 4 Save Windermere dinners will be ring fenced for specific strategies including further data collection and research, political lobbying and the pursuit of legal status for Windermere.
