When it comes to location, reaching 3 The Chase is a breeze.

If you're approaching from Bowness On Windermere, simply follow Kendal Road (A5074) through the village of Winster, past The Brown Horse, and approximately half a mile after passing the Damson Dene Hotel, turn right to Bowland Bridge. Once in Bowland Bridge, The Chase development, with its private parking, is the first group of buildings on the left, just behind the Hare and Hounds public house. No.3 The Chase is conveniently located to the left of the parking bay, with a footpath leading to the entrance gate for the cottage.

Just a short drive to the east of Lake Windermere, you'll discover the secluded and unspoiled Winster Valley, a serene haven characterised by rolling hills, verdant fields, and wooded slopes. This picturesque landscape is perfect for escaping the pressures of modern life, offering a network of country lanes and paths ideal for gentle strolls.

Lovely place, such a nice time staying here! Great place to stay when visiting the Lake District! Far enough a way from the businesses but close enough to drive quickly to places! So clean and lots of little extras for us to use and enjoy! 100% recommend, we will be back for sure!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this place which is in such a beautiful location, just outside of Windemere. The property itself was very modern and well furnished. It was the perfect place to crash every evening after hours of hiking in the day! The location was perfect - out of the way enough to not be affected by touristy traffic, but close enough to visit loads of Lake District attractions and plenty of local restaurants. There’s also the Hare and Hounds pub next door which is a lovely quintessential country pub with friendly staff and nice food. We would love to visit the Lake District again one day and would definitely be happy to stay here again. Thanks Michelle for such a lovely property!

Extremely comfortable stay! Myself, my wife our 9 month old baby and our dog felt right at home. A great base to explore Windermere. A fantastic pub called the Hare and Hound right on the doorstep which we ate at multiple times during our stay, highly recommend!
