Wetherlam’s spacious hallway has access to a handy drying cabinet for all your outdoor clobber. Through to the open plan contemporary living space with leather seating, Freeview TV and French doors out on to the large terrace. The designer Poggenpohl dining kitchen is extremely well fitted with a good range of cupboards and appliances and a handy breakfast bar area.

There are three, beautifully appointed bedrooms just a step down from the hallway; the master super-king enjoys a superb lake view and has an en-suite double-ended bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC; a twin room (please ask for super-king if required) with garden view and en-suite shower, hand basin and WC and a further twin (please ask for super-king if required) with a garden view also has an en-suite shower room with cubicle, handbasin and WC.

Guests at Wetherlam have use of the terrace and share in half a mile of private lake frontage, perfect for enjoying a picnic at the water’s edge whilst taking in the glorious views of Windermere and her surrounding fell range. The private jetty is available for those wishing to launch a dinghy, canoe or kayak (with prior arrangement) and the shallow bay is safe for taking a quick dip, paddle boarding and perfect for those more adventurous wild swimmers amongst you.

Wetherlam is a lovely apartment we stay there every year and it is always so clean and welcoming. Being right on the lake there is no need to even leave the Pullwood Estate as the grounds have so much to offer. A great place for a family holiday regardless of the weather.
