My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. The place was exactly as described and very cosy! Every inch of space has been carefully thought of and it had everything we needed. It was lovely to arrive to a bottle of Prosecco and the dressing gowns and slippers were the perfect added touch. The location was amazing and a short 5 minute drive into the town or a 20 minute walk which was great. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, well worth the price!

Great location, on a small estate. Tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. En-suite whilst small made efficient use of the space and the provided lotions, soaps, and towels were great! You have decent privacy as the property isn't overlooked. Quiet accommodation, although it is possible to hear the neighbours occasionally.

We had a 4 night stay here and we are already looking at when we can come back. Really cosy, quiet and surrounded by countryside, but still really easy to get to the main road to explore the Lakes. It was beautifully clean and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay!

The pod was a lovely base for our stay in the lakes. A compact apartment that has everything you need. Apartment is very cosily furnished and is very comfortable. Location is very useful for getting out and about. Patio area is very nice however not private from the flat next door if they are also out - separated by a low level row of plants.

We came to stay in the lake district and were blessed with some amazing weather and no shortage of beautiful views. Michelle's cottage was a lovely retreat and hub to explore the many lakes, streams, and waterfalls. Inside the cottage was some information about the local area such as; places to eat, and some places to visit to get us started which was very helpful. The space itself was spotless and organised with everything you could need over your stay. Although the cottage is attached to a larger complex, the cottage was very well soundproofed and we were never disturbed by our neighbours. When we next travel up to the Lake District we will definitely keep Michelle's place in mind and recommend it to all!

The location is stunning. The Pod had everything needed for our stay all high end appliances inclusive of dishwasher, washing machine, microwave a full hob and oven cooking equipment plus tea, coffee, sugar and milk. A lovely additional touch of the Heanings Prosecco, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand wash and sanitiser. The umbrella was very much appreciated and I felt this was home from home all what we needed to take was our clothes and shoes.

This is such a lovely, peaceful place, close to Windermere but tucked away. Lovely to be greeted by lambs when you turn into the road and bird song from the patio. It’s a row of holiday cottages, and we did wish there was a full size hedge between us and the neighbours, as the other flats had - it seemed just to be these two that had a small row of pot plants between them. Also the modern and stylish sofa could have been comfier! But overall it’s a very well designed space, comfortable bed, good shower, great location and we would definitely stay again. Communication was excellent and we felt very welcomed! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Absolutely loved the time we had at the Heaning Cottages. The views were stunning and you could eat outside in your own secluded area. The accommodation is comfortable and you have lounge with an open plan kitchen and large glassed double door which looks out to the countryside. Its short drive to Windermere and is well worth visit. Overall we would highly recommend visit.

The location was fab! From the moment we got there we were captivated by the beautiful surroundings. The pod itself was lovely, it had tasteful decor, it was cosy and had a lovely atmosphere. The amenities within the pod were incredible, the kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable and the sitting room was perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring the lakes.
One of the main highlights was the outdoor space, the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the patio.
It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of going.

My stay was exceptional, the pod was very clean and we had everything we needed in the Kitchen and living area to really make the most of our stay. The bed was very comfortable (it was hard to get out of bed in the mornings for our morning walks!). In addition to this we were welcomed with a nice drink, they had left us two bottles, one was non alcoholic which was really appreciated as I was not drinking at the time.

Absolutely enchanting! From the moment we arrived at The Heanings we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. The cottage itself was immaculately clean, cosy and offering all the comforts of home and more.

Went here for babymoon and can easily say it was perfect for what we wanted. The pod cottage was cosy, perfectly located and had a great mix of cottage wood beams but modern appliances. It was amazing. Would highly recommend to everyone.

We had a beautiful stay at the Pod. The space was really clean, the grounds and scenery were gorgeous and we even had complimentary prosecco waiting for us upon arrival. Thank you for making our Lake District trip special. One thing to note: There are no dual pin sockets in the bathroom for charging beard trimmers or electric toothbrushes, so make sure to bring one if you need it.

The cottage looks just as on the pictures and its conveniently located a few minutes drive from the nearest town. The amenities and furniture are high quality and has everything you may need during your stay, including games and smart TV. You can also get food delivery from nearby restaurants.

If you are thinking of booking The Pod or any of the other suites, do, and if you have never been to the Lake District, it's a must. The Pod on The Heaning Estate was a wonderful little find. We were so impressed from the minute we entered the estate to walking in finding a lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. The Pod is beautifully fitted out and to a very high standard with all the mod cons. Everything has been thought of so it made for a very relaxing stay. It was lovely eating breakfast on the patio and listening to the water from the water fountain and we slept so well in the very comfortable bed. The communications were excellent. I had a few questions before and after our stay and each time was met with a really friendly voice at the end of the phone.

A perfect little cosy cottage for a stay near Lake Windermere. Easy to access (via car) and lovely and quiet. The cottage was small but just what we needed, cosy, clean and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfy. Would highly recommend for a stay at the Lakes!

The Pod was only completed in 2020 and has been finished to a high standard. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The inclusion of bath robes and slippers as well as the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was a splendid touch. We can thoroughly recommend.

This is a perfect little apartment for a country get-away. It's brand new, and very clean, with comfortable furnishing. The location is great - a short drive to Lake Windermere, and easy driving to lots of other beautiful spots. The apartment is fully set up for self-catering, and has a lovely little patio for al fresco dining if you get lucky with the weather. A very comfy large double bed, and a big smart tv. The only downsides: first, it's quite small; second, the connecting door to the neighbouring apartment (the door with black and white photo of trees printed on it) is very thin, so there's not much sound insulation between the two apartments on the ground floor.

Michelle’s place over delivered on all of our expectations. Location was easily accessible to Windermere, room was stylish and comfortable and the amenities were fantastic. We were upgraded to a bigger ‘house’ on the day we were supposed to arrive and it was perfect. I highly recommend.
