Wow, what a view!

Skiddaw Heights sits perched at the top of a steep drive in a quiet, elevated position above the town and takes full advantage of the stunning panoramic views to be had of Keswick, Derwent Water, and the Northern fells beyond.

Once you've been able to turn your eyes from the views, you'll be instantly relaxed when you enter this chic and modern town house. Set across three floors, the accommodation has been designed to make the most of the views at every opportunity but also with the aim of creating areas where you can all gather together comfortably to share in a family meal or gather round to watch a favourite movie or TV series. The hub of the house has to be the fantastic open plan kitchen; cool grey units wrapped in white granite tops with high quality integrated appliances and everything you'll need to cook up a hearty dinner, the central island sure to be the favourite spot to enjoy a bit of brekkie before heading out for a day sight seeing or on the fells. The superb lounge room has ample seating for you all to spread out and relax whilst enjoying more of that view from the two sets of French doors.

Four excellent bedrooms, one on the main living floor and three on the first, are well thought out to ensure your comfort with decent beds and quality linens to ensure a restful sleep. There's a good ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms too, ensuring a good degree of privacy for everyone and a choice of either powerful showers or relaxing baths.
The front terrace, accessed directly from the dining and living areas, is the perfect place to sit at the end of a hectic day, and there's plenty of seating for you all. The rear garden is totally private too, and the integral garage provides plenty of storage for bikes and paddle boards, ideal for those adventure seekers among you!

Location & Nearby
If you're able to tear yourself away from Skiddaw Heights, a short walk downhill brings you to the town itself, one of the Lake's most picturesque locations surrounded by dramatic scenery. Nestled on the shores of Derwentwater, the circular round the lake walk is an absolute must for all visitors; 10 miles of joyous scenery around a waymarked route with some interesting sights to see along the way and even some red squirrels if you're lucky. Of course, for those fell walkers and mountain bikers amongst you, the Northern fells offers some of the most famous Lake District Peaks for all ages and abilities - which Wainwright's will you tick off during your stay?

Me and my husband both said that we would happily use your cottage in the future as it was so well equipped, really clean, and just full of all the practical stuff that many other cottages don’t provide! We are more than happy to buy dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc… But oh my goodness does it make it easier to have all that ready for you when you arrive rather than having to rush around getting stuff in a supermarket knowing you are only going to use a weeks worth and having to bring it all back home with you! The appliances were good quality, and easy to use, the cleanliness was perfect, I actually can’t think of a single improvement, which is a huge credit to your company! I actually found you on Airbnb, and then googled your company and I’m so glad I did, as we love the late district, and would 100% use your company again when making future bookings! You were also really responsive I just can’t fault you! You were fantastic. Thank you for being so fantastic and giving us many happy memories of such a lovely holiday… You even provided Sunshine for the week!
