It is a clean property with all amenities you could need for your stay. Perfect location for Ambleside and exploring the lakes. Parking for your car off road is a bonus.

We've been coming to The Lakes for over 20 years and Simonstone is the nicest place we have ever stayed in. Great location, we only used our car one day, instead we walked from the house and used the buses. Fabulous luxurious house yet very comfortable with enough space for everyone. Everything has been thought out perfectly; a great space to relax in, a stunning high-end kitchen, lovely comfy beds, fab separate bathrooms, even a cute outdoor patio to enjoy the sunshine on. 5 star coteage, we've already talked about coming back.

We had a fantastic week staying at Simonstone. The house is ideally located - walking distance into the town on Ambleside and driving to the other villages. The house is very clean and modern, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Off road parking is also a big plus, especially around this area. It’s also a very quiet neighbourhood so perfect to come back and relax after a long days walking.

Beautiful well laid out place. Tucked away at the back of Ambleside. The outside space is useful and enough to let the dogs out. Although as they recommend i wouldn't leave them out there unsupervised. We were able to get 2 large cars in the parking at a squeeze but only really did that for unloading etc as there is a little street parking and we managed to use that. The kitchen is well stocked with every pot and pan and utensil u could possibly need and its all lovely and modern and new. Instructions and information were all on point. All in all this is a fantastic spot with good access into town. It is down a hill but that's the lakes right. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely look to book again. Thank you to Michelle and everyone for making it so easy and effortless. We truly couldn't have had a better time
