Loved our stay here with 2 couples our 18 month old and dog. The accommodation was super clean and really high quality, I.e. beds were comfy, kitchen had everything you could need and more, including kid friendly cutlery and bowls/plates. Was particularly impressed with the provision of stair gate, high chair and cot. The bathrooms are amazing, 2 big showers and 2 full free standing tubs and an additional downstairs toilet. Would have loved to stay longer. Location is perfect if you don’t have a car or just want to be within stumbling distance of a pub/restaurant. Lots of lovely walks straight out of the door including Stock Ghyll force which takes 20 mins max to walk to and a couple of low fells. Would 100% return and couldn’t recommend the place strongly enough.

Excellent place right in the centre of Ambleside. Had everything we needed and more. The parking pass made life very easy. One minor incident with an issue with the washing machine which was promptly resolved within an hour of reporting it.

What a wonderful house! Well positioned, spotless, everything you needed. We were given a bottle of Prosecco, a pint of milk and some dog biscuits, although we never had a dog with us. Nice quite private outside space too. We couldn’t have been happier and will be booking again!

Charming cottage in the heart of Ambleside. It was well equipped with everything you need for a short or long term stay and very comfortable. The house was spotless, clean and fresh. Only a stones throw from lovely restaurants and shops in town. The parking permit for public parking nearby was fantastic and could be used for other parking spots in nearby villages around the Lakes. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a fabulous stay in this home over the Easter bank holiday weekend. We felt very secure in this spacious and quaint house - which was a great location in Ambleside. The only thing that would have made this stay top-notch would’ve been to have had a driveway of some kind. Thank you for making us and our dog so welcome!
