What a great 4 night stay in a wonderful quaint cottage, perfect location for us. Property is of a good standard and doesn't disappoint. parking no problem, got a spot right outside . There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to fulfil a broad range of tastes and budgets. We will certainly return next year.

Where to begin?
Spotless cleanliness, fresh bedding and towels and comfortable new furniture throughout. Very comfy bed! Thoughtful welcome gift when we arrived (the Prosecco - didn’t last long!) and a great modern kitchen with an eating area and all utensils and equipment you’d need to your getaway including an induction hob and good internet if you need it. Perhaps best of all you’re a 5 mins stroll to the eateries and drinking spots of Keswick along quiet streets. The place is cozy and spacious enough to have your own space for personal downtime. Would definitely rebook. Highly recommended. .

Keswick is in a stunning town in a stunning area. Having accommodation that offers an incredible central location means you can literally walk straight into town or set off for a day on one of the numerous trails. There is a plethora of restaurants and bars within a 2 minute walk. The house itself is beautifully presented. Ideal for up to 4 people The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was really well stocked with utensils and had all the mod cons. Off road parking was plentiful. There was even a welcome gift from the hosts. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic place to stay. Clean, comfortable and cosy, lovely new kitchen, really comfy beds. Location is fantastic, very central and just short walk to the shops and restaurants and also the jetty to get the boat. Easy access to walks without need to drive.
Proescco and chocolates on arrival was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommmend and hope to be back!

This was an amazing stay. Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a week away with our small dog and small human. Kitchen was very modern and lovely. Cosy living room. Comfortable beds and spacious hall. Looks a lot bigger than on photographs they don’t do justice. Nice outdoor area. Little final touches (dishwasher tabs etc) really appreciated. Lovely hosts left bottle of Prosecco and chocolates which was so kind and put a smile on my face after a long drive. Would highly recommend this place to stay - one of the best places we have stayed in the Lake District! Thank you!

What a fantastic home and perfect base go explore. The beds were very comfy which was needed after long walks. Situated just a few minutes away from the main street in Keswick with lots of places to eat, the market and both parks. We've had an amazing holiday

The cottage is ideal for a break in the Lake District. We arrived by train to Penrith & took a short bus journey to Keswick.
Ratstone cottage is immaculately clean and thoughtfully decorated with a beautiful kitchen dining room. It is well equipped and has very comfortable mattresses fir a good nights sleep after long walks? We had a lovely break.
There is lots to do in keswick & surrounding area, all walkable from this cottage.

The cottage is perfectly located for Keswick and parking is no problem in front of the property or nearby streets. Cottage has been fitted out to a high standard, clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location, lovely accomodation with high quality finishes internally. Parking near the house can be a challenge given how busy Keswick is but it would not put us off returning.

Lovely quaint little terraced cottage in a built up area but very central for everything in Keswick. Cottage was immaculately clean and good quality household appliances. Front double bedroom is quite small and the bathroom would benefit from a shower cubicle rather than a bath for people with mobility problems. Overall we had a comfortable stay at Ratstone Cottage
