Accessed by way of an internal staircase, enter Latterbarrow on the first floor and into the open plan living space, the lounge area has a corner sofa, Freeview 41 inch TV.

The quality dining kitchen is well fitted with an excellent range of units and appliances including a drying cupboard, handy if you’ve been caught out in a shower.

On the upper floor, you’ll find a kingsize bedroom with TV and en-suite double ended bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

Guests at Latterbarrow share in half a mile of private lake frontage, perfect for enjoying a picnic at the water’s edge whilst taking in the glorious views of Windermere and her surrounding fell range. The private jetty is available for those wishing to launch a dinghy, canoe or kayak (with prior arrangement) and the shallow bay is safe for taking a quick dip, paddle boarding and perfect for those more adventurous wild swimmers amongst you.

This is a very advantageous housing source. The location and scenery are quite excellent. The lakeside is very beautiful. We also see rabbits and deers in the forest downstairs. Our whole family likes it very much.

We absolutely loved this place. So relaxing and felt a real treat to be right on the lake. The apartment had everything we needed, had great technology and felt really safe and relaxing.

So we stayed at the Pullwood Estates, in an apartment named Latterbarrow, this is one of I believe eight apartments on the lakeside. It’s a fantastic building, with great views over lake Windermere, and plenty of woodland space to go walking in. The place had a fully equipped kitchen, not that I intended on doing much cooking on holiday, but for those who want to, there’s every item you need. The property is about a 10 minute drive from Ambleside, or you can walk via some paths dotted around. Had a lovely welcome basket on arrival, with local artisan bread, shortbread, butter, eggs, some fantastic local jam, and a pint of milk in the fridge, with a supply of tea coffee and sugar, and handily, a Nespresso machine and a couple of pods, Bonus. I would happily recommend this place to anyone who fancies a break in the lakes, and would really suit those who want to see some greenery.

Booked Latterbarrow for my parents for the week. The apartment was gorgeous, comfortable and had every they needed. There was an unexpected welcome hamper which was lovely! They had an issue with one of the blinds and it was fixed immediately. The location is outstanding, with walks straight from the door, ample parking and full access to the lake. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and the whole of Pullwood Bay without reservation. Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent location with a couple of beautiful private beaches on to Windermere. Bit of a hiccup over arrival instructions was handled swiftly.

The best Airbnb I've stayed in. Location is absolutely unbeatable - right on the lake shore. Other families in the building we spoke to had been coming for 30 or 40 years. Just don't tell everybody else about it!
