Absolutely beautiful location and views across Ambleside. Great location in the town for walking to pubs/restaurants/shops and to head out into the countryside. Really cosy, but also spacious and lovely - couldn't recommend more.

Perfect location for exploring Ambleside and the Lakes. Beautiful views over the rooftops and cute, clean apartment with good amenities. The bedroom is at the back of the building so it's pretty quiet. It is not really geared towards taller people though as all the door frames are very low.

A perfect little apartment in a perfect location! The rooms are better in real life and it really had a lovely vibe. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for self catering and cleaning products were in abundance. The views from the kitchen and living room were stunning and we did pick the best week for weather, so the whole break was fabulous! A bonus was the parking permit with clear instructions which car parks to use. A small note for those with accessibility issues is that the apartment is located up several flights of stairs. I would definitely recommend and definitely re book, five stars from us!

We had a lovely stay at Lanty Scar over the bank holiday. The views from our flat were amazing and the location couldn’t get any better! Our apparent was stylish and clean, it felt like we’d arrived at a hotel room. We had to call the on call guy a few times but for nothing major and he was extremely helpful! The one small point we didn’t enjoy was being unable to properly close the bathroom door, but this wouldn’t stop us from staying again! Thank you for a great stay Lanty Scar!

A beautiful apartment that overlooks Ambleside. The kitchen is well equipped, and the apartment has all the amenities you could require (washing machine, dish washer, clothes rack etc). The apartment is adjacent to the high street which makes shopping very easy, and the waterfalls and fells are all just a short walk.
