You're in for a treat with this charming apartment, nestled on the top floor of Romney Grange

It's the perfect spot for a cosy getaway. Get ready for some serious comfort and quality, not to mention those stunning lake views that will really set the holiday vibe.

Now, here's the best part: the head of Windermere is just a short stroll away. That means you're within arm's reach of steamer cruises on the lake, and plenty of great places to grab a bite to eat within easy walking distance.

Jenkins Crag has been decked out with your holiday comfort in mind, and it's ready to be your go-to spot for a fantastic Lakeland holiday any time of year.

Let's take a tour: As you step inside, you'll find yourself in the entrance hall, complete with a handy coat cupboard. From there, it's a hop, skip, and jump into the sunny L-shaped lounge/dining room. There’s a 40" TV with Freeview Play, a DVD player, wi-fi broadband, and a radio/CD/iPod dock. Plus, there's a patio door that opens up to a balcony where you can kick back and soak in those magnificent views.

Next is the kitchen. It's a sleek German contemporary kitchen in cherry wood, fully loaded with all the equipment you'll need. And guess what? You get to enjoy views of the rear gardens while you cook up a storm.

When it's time to catch some Zs, you've got two cosy bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom boasts a generous five-foot bed and an en-suite shower room that's fully tiled, complete with a walk-in rain shower, basin, and WC.

The second bedroom has a comfy twin setup. The main bathroom is also fully tiled and offers a bath with a shower over it, plus a basin and WC. Both bedrooms come with garden views and their very own TV and radio/iPod dock.

Jenkins Crag has your comfort covered with storage heaters and panel heaters throughout, and it's well-insulated for those chilly days. The quality furnishings ensure you'll be sitting pretty throughout your stay.

Outside, there's a designated parking spot just for you, so no worries about finding a spot.

You can also kick back in the communal gardens, which have cosy seating areas and more of those fabulous Lake Windermere views.

Just a short distance from Ambleside and a stones throw from the lake at Waterhead

Welcome to Ambleside, located at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, the largest lake in England. You've chosen an excellent home base for exploring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away. There's a world of excitement waiting for you here.

Picture this: you can enjoy cruises, boat trips, and a wide range of water sports right on Windermere itself. And when it comes to satisfying your appetite for shopping, dining, or a cosy pub experience, Ambleside's got it all. The village has something to suit every taste.

Venture to Waterhead on the lakeside, and you'll be treated to lovely views down the lake and a delightful stretch of beach. But that's not all. Take a stroll up Skelghyll Woods and over Jenkins Crag for a dog-friendly walk close to Ambleside.

Aside from the stunning lake and fantastic hiking opportunities, Ambleside is also known for its annual rushbearing ceremony. And don't miss the charming 17th-century "Bridge House," one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District, now serving as the National Trust Information Centre. There's so much to see and do here, and you're in for an unforgettable adventure!

Ambleside village is a mere half-mile away, and Lake Windermere and those tempting steamers? They're practically on your doorstep, just 50 yards away. Enjoy!

We have stayed in this property on several occasions and as with previous occasions we found it to be well equipt and comfortable. From the quality of the furniture and fittings and the way they are regularly updated it is clear the owner takes a great pride in this property

This was, by far, the best airbnb we've ever stayed in. The flat was absolutely perfectq - clean, extremely well- equipped, modern, and had the most incredible view of Lake Windermere. My wife and I regularly joked that we wished we could move in permanently. It's a perfect spot for a family or two couples. Very easy access to neighboring towns and lovely pubs a short walk away. If we come back to the lake district, this is definitely where we'd want to come back to - you will be so pleased you did too.
