The house itself has been lovingly cared for and provides a home from home feeling, with a ground floor bedroom suite complete with a double bed, sofa, and wet room. There is also a large downstairs hallway, perfect for all your walking things. Off the hallway, there’s a convenient downstairs toilet.

The kitchen is typically a country cottage having Belfast sinks and beautiful crockery. The large oak dining table in the dining area is perfect for family dinners overlooking the accessible garden through patio doors.

Upstairs Infield House has a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a further king-sized room, a twin room, and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside, there is a cottage style accessible garden with furniture to enjoy the evening sun.

With four bedrooms and lots of open space, it’s the perfect destination for all the family. The house boasts a ground floor bedroom suite, with a fully accessible bathroom enabling all generations to enjoy and create memories.

Troutbeck Bridge is a great base for exploring, being only a 20-minute walk from Windermere, and a 10-minute drive from Ambleside. Brockhole is a 10-minute walk away with lake access, many activities, and a large adventure playground. Or, if you fancy a rewarding walk from the doorstep, you could head up to the Mortal Man for lunch overlooking the valley of Troutbeck, or take the bus from the nearby bus stop and head up to Grasmere and Keswick, making the most of this convenient service.

Lovely little place in a very peaceful neighbourhood, just a few minutes drive from some of the main sights in Windermere. Very spaceous bedrooms and clean toilets. We really enjoyed our stay and it was well worth the price. Responsive and friendly hosts. Plenty of spaces to park nearby. They provided games, blankets, there was a log burner and a peaceful garden outside. Well equipped place, couldn't recommend enough.

lovely house with great space for a big group. Very convenient for bus stops to Windermere and Ambleside and a great Spar store at the end of the lane for anything you need attention last minute

A perfect house for a big family plus dog for a weekend in the lakes. Excellent communal space, lovely big dining table & lounge area. Kitchen was beautiful. Beds super comfy with clean linens & mattresses and powerful showers. The lake, a well stocked shop & pub are an easy walk away, and Windemere town only a short drive or east walk down the road

Cosy, clean, beautifully styled, spacious, ideally located for all amenities but peaceful once inside. Everything you need in the kitchen plus comfortable beds with luxurious bedding. Can't fault it! Will hopefully be back but for longer next time.

Beautiful Lakeland house , like a home from home . Great base and location for exploring the lakes , spotless, lovely finishing touches like , Prosecco on arrival , local gift bag with chutneys etc .

Fantastic location and easy accessible to Ambleside/Bowness. Lovely spacious and clean environment with all the amenities you will need. We notified the blind in the bathroom had fell down, we wasn’t expecting it to be fixed while we were there just wanted to ensure they knew it wasn’t us that had done this. We had a knock on the door within 30 mins and it was fixed straight away. Clear instructions before we arrived. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Beautiful house in a great location. The garden area is lovely and the house is very clean and spacious. Really appreciated the hamper on arrival, lovely touch. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

A stunning, well equipped cottage with great space and facilities for all 8 of us. In a great location for exploring the area (you can walk to Windermere in half an hour if you like to leave the car at home). Great place to stay. The house is beautiful and had all that was needed to cook for a group of people. I loved the lay out and it generally felt like a well thought through place with beautiful detail.

A wonderful house to say in. Superbly equipped and immaculate. The kitchen in particular was the best of any Airbnb I have stayed in. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable base from which to explore the stunning surroundings or as a delightful cosy getaway with family or friends.

A lovely house for a family gathering. The living room space is perfect for hanging out, and the log burner makes it really cosy. Well equipped kitchen, great showers and very comfortable beds.

This cottage in reality is much better than the photos! Its beautiful inside and outside! Everything was clean and lovely and it came equipped with everything we needed. We very much appreciated the thoughtful touches of welcome pack on our arrival, they made it extra special! We couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay!

Lovely spacious cottage, large enough for 2 families and in a great location. Close to a number of towns and restaurants, some within walking distance. Excellent location for walks and hikes. Very well equipped kitchen and clean throughout. Look forward to staying here again.

Family group of 8, stayed for a week in August 2022. Thoroughly recommended! Infield House is spacious, bright, clean, and has great facilities - ideal for a big family gathering. Kitchen facilities are excellent and bedding/linens are all good quality. Location is really convenient for Ambleside and Windermere/Bowness. Would happily stay there again.

Stunning spacious cottage with everything you need for an escape in the Lakes! Great location for local restaurants. Excellent walks and hikes close by. We enjoyed the near by water based activities at the Brockhole Visitor Centre which was walking distance to the cottage! Can't praise the location and cottage enough... we look forward to coming next year.

One of the best holiday cottages we’ve been to. Clean, great layout, well equipped and lovely garden (with added touch of a herb garden to use). Beautiful welcome basket was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend, it’s a fantastic place and great location very near bus stop to all towns.
