This charming detached bungalow provides high-quality accommodation year-round, located on the outskirts of Ambleside in a peaceful residential area. It boasts stunning south-facing views across open fields and towards the fells beyond Lake Windermere.

From the doorstep, excellent walking routes await, with footpaths to Wansfell Pike and Troutbeck just 50 yards away. Ambleside village centre and Lake Windermere are both approximately half a mile downhill, easily reachable by foot.

The front entrance features just a couple of steps leading to an enclosed porch. From here, a door leads into the garage, which includes a utility area with drying space for outdoor gear, a sink, and laundry facilities. The main hallway has a cloaks cupboard and leads to a well-equipped cream shaker-style kitchen with granite countertops. The spacious L-shaped sitting/dining room offers beautiful views and a bright, sunny southerly aspect from multiple windows, with views extending to Fairfield on the opposite side. The living area includes a TV with Freeview, Netflix, DVD player, hi-fi with iPod dock, free Wi-Fi, and a gas fire. French doors open out to the rear garden.

The bungalow has two bedrooms: a double with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a WC, basin, and shower, and a twin room, also with an en-suite featuring a shower, basin, and WC. Both bedrooms have fitted furniture, and the double bedroom enjoys a lovely southerly view. There is an additional bathroom with a power shower over the bath, basin, and WC. A separate 'Map Room' provides ample storage space, has access to the back garden, and can be used for additional storage. The property is tastefully decorated throughout in soft pastel tones, creating a modern and welcoming ambience, with light wood finishes and coordinating fabrics. Fitted carpets run throughout, and double glazing along with gas central heating ensures comfort in all seasons.

Green Moss is surrounded by its own garden, open-plan at the front. The rear lawn, with a patio and garden furniture, offers views over the fields, perfect for enjoying sunny days. The garage has space for one car or for storing bikes, muddy boots, and jackets, along with a laundry area. The driveway provides parking for two cars.
