Fairfield is accessed by way of the main internal staircase on the garden side of the main house. An inner hallway leads into a contemporary, open plan living space with beautiful, solid furnishings and co-ordinating décor in pale pastel shades. Comfy seating is arranged around a large flat-screen TV for those movie nights in.

The Poggenpohl kitchen diner is well kitted out with all you’ll need to rustle up a hearty brunch before heading down to the lakeshore.

A spacious twin bedroom with TV sits on this floor (can be super-king by request) with access to an en-suite shower, basin and wc. On the second floor sits the master bedroom, a fixed super-king with TV and adjacent bathroom having a large walk-in shower, double-ended bath, basin and WC.

Guests at Fairfield share in half a mile of private lake frontage, perfect for enjoying a picnic at the water’s edge whilst taking in the glorious views of Windermere and her surrounding fell range. The private jetty is available for those wishing to launch a dinghy, canoe or kayak (with prior arrangement) and the shallow bay is safe for taking a quick dip, paddle boarding and perfect for those more adventurous wild swimmers amongst you.
