A HOME FROM HOME FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

On entering Easedale Lodge you are greeted by the welcoming hallway which leads to the pretty staircase and onto four well appointed bedrooms. Set just off the hallway, you’ll find the dining room which comfortably seats the whole party in front of a large ornamental fireplace. The compact kitchen has everything you need to cater for large groups with a utility room housing a washer and dryer next door. There is a handy downstairs toilet on the lower ground floor and a separate shower. You can choose to sit and watch the world go by in the smaller lounge area while planning the next day’s hikes, or relax in the TV room with comfy seating, ideal if you want to separate the grown-ups from the children for a while too!

On the first floor there are four beautifully presented bedrooms; one twin, two doubles and one king, each with either an en-suite or their own shower room.

On the second floor you will find another 3 double bedrooms with two en suite shower rooms and a separate shower room giving flexibility over large groups or families.

Outside, Easedale Lodge has parking for 6 cars with a small bench outside, Ambleside Park is a five-minute walk from the house and all that Ambleside has to offer is right on the doorstep.

This is a perfect place to stay for a mixed family group or friends. Easy to find, in the middle of lovely Ambleside, and with parking! Clean and comfortable throughout and well-equipped. The property is on the main road but traffic noise is minimal and didn't bother us. Overall highly recommended, we would definitely return.

Really nice place in the heart of Ambleside. Very easy to get to shops to buy supplies as well as various restaurants and outdoor stores. Access to lots of walking. Enough parking for four cars. The team were very responsive and checked in on us. Thank you!

Great location and perfect for what we wanted. more towels and toilet roll would have been great. No locks on internal doors was annoying. we had an elderly relative and there is no ground floor toilet - again minor but nice to know. Kitchen was very well stocked. The directions to find the house were problematic - said house is on the left and it was on the right (its a long way round the one way system the house sits on)

The accommodation was spacious and clean. Bonus being right in the centre of Ambleside with ample parking. The extra sitting room was ideal, the younger people in our party of 10 could watch all their silly programs and others could just sit back, relax, read and drink wine. Only thing that would have made it better was a bigger kitchen but with the space available it would not be possible. Good weather would have helped!!

We had a fabulous stay at Easedale in one of our favourite places in the lakes district, Ambleside. We have a big family and it was a get together for a birthday celebration, the house was perfect for us and fit us all in with spaces to go off and have your own time. The perfect location with parking is really hard to come by with such a big group! Great weekend had by all!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - 12 adults, 2 children, 3 dogs and 6 cars easily accomodated. Good access to the town and local sights and only a minute or two from the buses. The house was big enough so everyone could have space to chill out or mix with the rest of the family. Lovely and clean and very welcoming - only wish we could have stayed longer, but alas work for some of our party called. Would definitely stay again.

We booked Easedale Lodge for a family reunion weekend. We could not have chosen a more suitable place. The house is clean, well maintained and most welcoming... home from home, right in the centre of Ambleside.

Easedale Lodge was perfect for what we needed. Everywhere was spotless, everything you needed was in the house. Car parking off the main road was great. It is within walking distance of the centre of Ambleside and mini golf over the road for the kids. Thank you for our stay

Ideal central location for walking to restaurants and shopping in Ambleside and for exploring the central lakes. We were there during the hot weather and had the windows open which meant we were disturbed by the Road noise early in the morning. However we enjoyed our stay In Easedale and Ambleside and look forwards to visiting again.

You can see the benefits of the house in the listing, such as a great location with plenty of parking. The rooms are to a high standard and we like the small touches as well, welcome bottles of wine and milk in the fridge.

Fantastic Ambleside location and perfect for our family stay. Easedale Lodge was very spacious, clean and comfortable within walking distance to everything in the town. Added bonus to have decent parking onsite which is tricky to come by.
