COMFORTABLE, SPACIOUS LIVING AREAS WITH GREAT FACILITIES FOR A FAMILY

Park up and enter Copt How through the boot room to the side of the house, a great place to store all your outdoor walking gear and equipment and adjacent utility with washer/dryer. There’s a handy cloakroom with basin and WC and a pantry just off the fully fitted kitchen where you’ll find an electric double oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Access the outside from here and the fully enclosed patio garden with outdoor furniture and secure bike storage.

The spacious lounge dining room with comfy sofa has a wood-burning stove and garden outlook whilst the second lounge across the hall displays some interesting original paster work and has deep-cushioned leather sofas arranged around the open fireplace.

A rear hallway leads to the first floor where you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms: the master Kingsize bedroom enjoys fine fell views and is blessed with an en-suite shower room with cubicle, basin and WC. A second Kingsize bedroom overlooks the garden and has a good range of built-in wardrobes whilst the third bedroom is a pretty twin, again with garden outlook. The large family bathroom has a shower over the bath, the perfect place for a leisurely soak, basin and WC

Really enjoyed staying at this lovely house. The team were very quick to respond when needed occasionally and the linen change was carried out without any fuss part way through our visit. Would definitely recommend and would come back.

A good sized 3 bed house & all the facilities you would want . Great location with an easy walk into town & many walks from the front door reducing having to use our cars . A little tired in places - but for us , with a young child , it made it more homely

A very comfortable house in a great location. We could walk to the bus terminal and catch buses going to different places. We were also close to the local shops.Parking available at the property was useful. The house was roomy and comfortable and we especially liked the side entrance into the boot room when we returned from our walks.(Many from Ambleside) A really good rental!

This is an agency managed house so unlike other airbnb houses we have stayed in. Felt a bit sparse and functional but had a good location and worked fine for our family. Great boot room area for wet kit after days out and plenty of hot water and comfortable beds.

We were a party of 5 adults and one dog. We found Copt How to be spacious enough and adequately furnished. Check in was perfect as were the directions. The back garden was lovely and safe for our dog. The fact there is off road parking is a definite plus. We certainly couldn’t fault the location of the cottage, for the start of many beautiful walks, places to eat, drink and shop for supplies, all within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay and would recommend Copt How.

Lovely house, very close to the centre of Ambleside - cosy and warm if the weathers a bit wild. Very rapid response on a couple of minor maintenance issues. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Ambleside. The place was perfect. It is an old house but very well heated and we had a fire going every night. The shower in the main bath room was great. Good water pressure and heat. The best about the house was its amazing location, right in the middle of Ambleside with lots of pubs and shops and good bus connection. We would definitely come back.

Perfect location in Ambleside and a big bonus to have the parking. The house is spacious, clean and tidy. Handy to have the garden to sit in after a day's walk exploring the area.
