OPEN PLAN SPACE FOR GATHERING THE FAMILY TOGETHER

Set over 2 floors, the ground floor is largely open-plan, with a dining area inside the well-lit courtyard entrance leading to a comfy seating area with TV and log burner effect gas fireplace. The joined kitchen has everything in handy reach for enjoying a family meal.
Upstairs you’ll find comfortable sleeping arrangements in the two bedrooms, one twin, and one double, both sharing the house bathroom, equipped with a bath, WC, and hand basin.

Outside, Coach House One enjoys a sunny patio to the rear, set within a quiet open-plan courtyard with a picnic table provided.

All of the properties at Pullwood Bay can enjoy half a mile of private lake frontage, perfect for enjoying a picnic at the water’s edge whilst taking in the glorious views of Windermere and her surrounding fell range. The private jetty is available for those wishing to launch a dinghy, canoe or kayak (with prior arrangement) and the shallow bay is safe for taking a quick dip, and paddle boarding, and perfect for those more adventurous wild swimmers amongst you.

Lovely place, felt like a home from home, even for our 13 week old baby who fell asleep no problem in her new surroundings. Great location to explore from the door and not far from all amenities but still feeling private.

Beautiful Home to stay in. Lovely and cosy especially for the colder months. Hosts are great at responding. Only down side is, it is on an often used road and cars are quite loud at night. Otherwise brilliant place

We had a very good stay at Coach House One. The apartment was very pretty and clean and in a tranquil and scenic area. The location was beautiful, with access to the lake a short drive down the road. The host was very helpful and answered quickly to our queries.

The home is perfect, you feel right away as it is the place you want to live not only for 3 days but for much longer. The area is fantastic, furniture are elegant and cozy at the same time, the kitchen is well appointed and furnished and the fireplace in the living room makes everything magical. The best Airbnb I ever stayed.

Absolutely cracking stay - ideal location and everything was within 15 minutes' drive. Coach House One was exactly as presented - a cosy, ideal place for a long weekend stay. The Pullwood Bay Estate is stunning, with incredible views overlooking Windemere - if you are looking for tranquil this is it.

A beautiful cottage with a table in a shared courtyard. Road outside is pretty quiet at night - just the noise of cows and sheep to lull you to sleep. The bathroom is cosy - the shower over the bath doesn’t have a clip/curtain so you just have to hold it over yourself so anyone very tall may struggle - but for us and our toddler it wasn’t a big issue. Good local restaurant recommendations. Lovely place for a break!

Great location with access to the lake at Pull Wood Bay. Nice and cosy house that was nicely decorated and clean. Would have been great to have had a built in shower.

Enjoyed our holiday Michelle and her colleagues were very helpful and responsive hosts. Will use Lakeland Retreats again for sure. Perhaps a bigger place would be best next time.

“Thank you for a great stay. Only two bits of feedback. The fridge was not on when we got there, and when we turned it on it kept freezing the milk. The only other thing was your towels were tiny. Even our boys struggled with the size. Had we known you didn’t have bath towels I would have preferred to bring my own. We had a great time and would absolutely come again.”
