Just a short walk down hill from the centre of the pretty Lakeland town of Keswick sits Burnmoor, a fine detached family home enjoying a great location and even better views of the infamous Blencathra and her surrounding fell range from most rooms. Just wait until you see the money shot, a stunning vista of Saddleback as she's otherwise known from the arched picture window half way up the stairs!

With a bus stop at the end of the road, this is the perfect retreat for a 'park up and explore' break, the Northern fells providing not only a great selection of both challenging peaks and gentle ambles for all abilities but also incredible scenery with every step. One of our absolute favourites is Cat Bells, a gently undulating hike for all ages and definitely one for all the family to enjoy together - and your four legged friend too of course! And once you've completed the challenge, there's a wide selection of eateries, pubs, and bars to satisfy your appetite (and thirst)

Delightfully detached, Burnmoor is on a private, quiet road with little or no passing traffic and provides spacious and homely accommodation for a family or two or three couples. The cosy lounge to front looks out towards Latrigg fell and is the prefect place to relax and unwind together around the warming woodburning stove. The large dining room, with ample space for you all to gather around the table, provides amazing views of Latrigg AND Blencathra which will no doubt be the focus of many a conversation over a hearty breakfast or evening meal. The kitchen, although a little neat on space, is well equipped with everything you'll need to fully self cater throughout your stay.

Perfectly set up for six, the bedrooms to the first floor offer great views and a choice of either kingsize, double or twin rooms providing a flexible arrangement for either a family or couples. The master kingsize bedroom has a modern en-suite with large, powerful shower for an invigorating start to the day while the house bathroom has a deep bath, ideal for soaking those aching limbs after a day on the fells.

There's plenty of parking for up to three cars on the driveway and a large garden for the children to run around and let off some steam or simply to sit and take in more of the stunning views.
