All on ground floor level, a sloping path leads to the front entrance of Brackenber. As you enter you’ll find a spacious hallway and adjacent utility, with a boot room and drying rack.

The large open plan and social living space offer a modern and stylish kitchen with, integrated appliances, and all you’ll need to cook up a hearty dinner – choose to eat at the breakfast bar or the more formal dining table whilst taking in views of the landscaped gardens.

Stylish, comfortable seating is arranged around the statement wood-burning stove. A further seating area is strategically placed right next to the enormous patio windows, giving way to superb views. It’s a super place to sit and enjoy your book of choice or listen to your holiday playlist.

Three good bedrooms can be found along the hall; a twin and 2 king-size, both sharing a spacious house bathroom with a large bath, walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. A further king-size has an en-suite with shower, hand basin and WC.

The impressive landscaped gardens and private deck provide glorious views of Ambleside and her surrounding fell range and are sure to be well utilised in the warmer months. It’s just the spot to enjoy a hot cuppa in the morning or sip a cool cocktail before dinner.

Ample off-road, private parking is available for up to three cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome to join you.

Tucked away and slightly elevated above Ambleside, Brackenber provides a panoramic vista of the village across towards Loughrigg fell and the Fairfield Horseshoe range. A large decked balcony which spans the length of the property provides the perfect vantage point to take in the view.

Extended in recent times, Brackenber is fashionably presented with up-to-the-minute décor and styling. If you can bear to tear yourself away from the views, Ambleside town centre is only a short walk downhill where you’ll find a well-stocked high street brimming with galleries, cafes, shops and bars, and a whole host of attractions to satisfy even the most adventurous among you.

What an amazing place!! Such a beautiful cottage with stunning views! Would 100% recommend any family or friends to say here! It has everything you need and only a short walk to the town centre! We loved every minute of our stay.

Our stay was amazing and will definitely be recommending to all our family & friends. The view was incredible and will 100% be coming back. We couldn’t fault this air bnb and the quick responses, useful information and communication couldn’t have been any better.

Absolutely stunning accommodation, love the open plan layout and to top it off the views. 4 adults, 2 children and 1 dog. We had plenty of space to relax and cook. The kitchen had everything we needed for nights in, the heating meant it was lovely and warm and didn't need to use the fire but we did one night. 2 good sized bathrooms, the utility room was perfect for wet boots and coats. A very short walk into Ambleside to lots of lovely cafés and pubs, plus walks on the doorstep to Rydal, Loughrigg Fell and Wansfell Pike meaning we hardly used the car all week. Highly recommend Dodds restaurant for food and Sheila's.

This property is a must! If you like waking up to the Lake District views, like being able to get into town to buy anything you need and like walks on your doorstep then look no further. Stunning property in a stunning location. Top marks from me and the family!

Fantastic house, super clean, very well located in Ambleside (walking distance to the town center, all shops and supermarkets as well as the start of hiking trails). The pictures don’t do it justice and the views are amazing from the lounge and terrace where you. An have your meals! The house was also very well equipped in the lounge (many channels on TV and DvD) to the kitchen (absolutely everything you need is there!). We also had our dog and the house is definitely dog friendly. Probably one of our best stays on AirBnB to date!!!
